Send a letter to your child

Write a letter to your child after a birthday celebration at home, school or in the community. Do not be shy about sharing your family life with your child at Selamta! They love pictures and short anecdotes about what is happening in your family’s daily life along with big events. Try not to send anything of value through the mail… letters and copies of pictures are great to send! The mailing address in Ethiopia is:

Send a package to your child

Volunteers travel to Selamta several times a year, and they are happy to carry small, flat packages to your child. We will post these dates and send out an email notification once we have knowledge of the dates. You can send your small, flat packages to our office in Vermont anytime of the year, and we will send them with the next volunteer group, too. The mailing address in Vermont is:

Communicate via email

We have an email account set up for just for sponsors to send messages to their child at Selamta. Our professional staff in Addis will be sure that your child receives your email message and responds to you as well. You can send attachments, but please do not send too many pictures. The Internet connection in Ethiopia is still very slow. Please include your name and your child’s name in the subject line of the email. Email address is sponsors@humancapitalfoundation.org
