Your multi-year pledge to sponsor a child at Selamta is an investment in your sponsored child’s education, health and future prosperity. There are a number of ways to sponsor a child at Selamta, each is important and makes a significant difference in the life of a deserving child.

Choose the level that is right for you and your family. Often, friends and families “co-sponsor” children and share the experience of the Selamta Family with their entire family here at home.

Outreach support provides for a family in which the head-of-household is HIV-positive. The children in the family receive

  • Continuous education at their local school
  • School supplies including uniform, backpack and notebooks
  • After-school tutoring programs
  • Food and clothing
  • Medical care
  • Small budget for birthday and holiday celebrations

Annual support at the Outreach level is $360.00

Leadership Development support provides for each child’s education and important extras.

  • Continuous education at a rigorous K-12 private school
  • School supplies including uniform, backpack and notebooks
  • After-school tutoring programs
  • Sports and soccer registration fees
  • Summer enrichment programs
  • Small budget for birthday and holiday celebrations
  • Small savings account each child.

Annual support at the Leadership Development level is $360.00

Daily Necessities provides additional funds for important basic needs at Selamta. These basic needs help make a house a home.

  • Food
  • Clothing and shoes
  • Medical coverage and dental care
  • Stipends for Mom and Auntie

Annual support at the Daily Necessities level is $440.00.

Full Sponsorship support provides for education, recreation and a savings account along with important basic needs and opportunities that will enable your child to thrive at Selamta

  • Continuous education at a rigorous K-12 private school

  • Birthday and holiday celebrations
  • Small savings account each child
  • Food
